I can’t believe that in two weeks, I’ll be fulfilling my dream of studying abroad. I’ll be in London for three weeks. Adventures will be had, memories will be made, gaps will be minded, and Highclere Castle will be visited even if I have to walk there!

Wow, it’s been a long time since I have posted. Life was moving very fast for a while and some things had to give. Thankfully, donuts are have been a constant comfort these past months. Now I hope to be back to Tumblr-ing as often as possible!

Bert Hardy the photographer for the Picture Post records the day to day running of this busy wartime station recording tearful goodbyes of parting couples. This was for an article running in the Picture Post on May 23rd 1942, called Wartime Terminus.
This reminds me of other goodbyes at train stations…
